ONE Lexington Director Devine Carama says events such as the "East End Day" celebration where five people were shot used to be "sacred," and a place where people would not engage in violence due to the presence of families, women and children. Carama said he fears those engaged in violence no longer see issues with disrupting events like the one Saturday.
